The north of the island is the Ses Salines natural park: salt flats where flamingos feed, and a long white spit with Ses Illetes on one side and Llevant on the other, pointing to s’Espalmador.

The beaches

Ses Illetes and Llevant; Juan y Andrea and Beso Beach are on the sand; Es Molí de Sal is in an old salt mill.

The salt flats

Flamingos almost all year, best at the end of summer and in autumn (caib.es).

Inside the park, anchor only on sand.

The rules

No anchoring on Posidonia, no jet skis, no landing on the islets except s’Espalmador by its channels, and no mud bathing in its lagoon.

Our advice: arrive early by bike, and leave the car behind.
