About s’Espalmador: the rules

s’Espalmador lies just north of the spit of Ses Illetes, inside the Ses Salines natural park. It is the one islet between Ibiza and Formentera where visitors may land, under strict rules (caib.es).

Landing

Land only through the entry and exit channels; on land, walk only on the public shore and beach and on the signed path to the lagoon (caib.es).

Anchoring

Anchor only in the permitted zones, on sand, never on the Posidonia, or book a buoy in the Badia de s’Alga through Ports IB (portsib.es).

Bathing in or using the mud of s’Espalmador’s lagoon is prohibited.

The lagoon

Bathing in or using the mud of the lagoon is prohibited (caib.es).

Our advice: treat it as a nature reserve. Take your rubbish home, and stay on the paths.
